Dispatch & Delivery
Products are only delivered in the Republic of South Africa.
Delivery time: Parcels are dispatched between 1 & 2 days from the time payment has cleared.
Overnight or same-day delivery is currently available to customers in the Durban region subject to receiving your order and cleared payment before 12 noon .
From the time of dispatch delivery is usually between 3 and 5 working days in main areas and 5 to 7 days in outer lying areas. We are not responsible for any delays by the courier company.
Methods of delivery.

Courier – Door to Door delivery .
For verification purposes, the person accepting delivery at the delivery address may be required to produce a form of identification. Any person other than yourself who receives the Products at the delivery address is conclusively presumed to be authorized to accept delivery on your behalf.
Should no-one be in attendance at the time of delivery, the driver will retain the products and a notice will be left at the delivery address to this effect. Our representative will attempt to contact you to make new arrangements for delivery or collection. Bakers Portal reserves the right to charge an additional delivery fee
should it be required to make a further delivery or collection if no one is at the
delivery address to receive the products or hand over the returned products, whichever the case may be.
You are required to ensure that you or a duly authorised person shall be in attendance at the delivery address and that appropriate access will be made available. On delivery, the person accepting delivery shall be required to sign and print his/her name against a duplicate copy of the delivery note, to confirm receipt of the delivery. Bakers Portal has outsourced all delivery and collection arrangements.
Accordingly, Bakers Portal shall not be liable for any damage suffered or loss incurred by reason of any acts or omissions of the deliverer, it’s owner, employees, sub-contractors, agents, representatives and/or affiliates.
Costs
Unless products state free delivery, there will be a delivery charge.
Estimated Costs
R150.00 Per Delivery
Larger parcels and areas where the courier may charge additional fees may attract additional charges which we will quote you if need be.
Costs will vary according to delivery location, weight and size of package and insured amount.
Bakers Portal liability for failing to deliver the Products on the day indicated by you or at all, is limited to the Products being available at the time of dispatch.
Collections:
Collections are available upon pre-arrangement with a representative of Bakers Portal at our business addresses.
Collection times are as follows :
Monday to Saturday : 9am to 12h30pm
Cancellations
We reserve the right to cancel any order at any time before delivery
Returns & Refunds Policy
Baker’s Portal offers customers the opportunity to return certain items if the items are faulty, erroneous or if the quality is deemed below par.
If you are not satisfied with a product, please notify us within 7 days and we will supply you with a return address.
Conditions of returns:
• The item must be in its original packaging. In certain cases we may charge up to 10% on returned items i.e Items need to be repackaged etc.
• The customer must be able to produce their invoice and contact us within 7 days.
• Baker’s Portal is entitled to inspect the item for any signs of intentional damage and can, as a result, reject the return.
• If erroneous, the item must be in a suitable enough condition for resale.
• Please note that items supplied on special orders and wholesale orders cannot be returned or exchanged.
• Unfortunately, delivery and package costs to return the item and delivery charges on order of the item are non refundable and we are not held responsible for returns that do not reach us.
In the event of the goods being faulty however, we will cover all costs of delivery.
If the above conditions are met, the customer can claim a full refund in cash, credit note or exchange the goods. Please check carefully before returning any item and contact us within 7 days of receiving your order.
